Re: OPOS & Scale Support

I actually have already written something for OPOS. Does not include the scale interface, just printer, cash drawer, and pole display.

Re: DHPOS on Windows Server 2008

I had this tested on Win Server 2003 and works fine. You may have to create a shortcut on your desktop, then change the compatibility mode by right clicking the shortcut, then clicking on properties. Let me know how you make out.

Re: USB CASH DRAWER

i don't have a cash drawer but can modify the OPOS program i wrote to interface with cash drawers if someone wants to test that as well.

it would use the opos drivers for a variety of models.

Re: OPOS Support

I forgot to turn on reporting for that site.. Just out of curiosity, has anyone downloaded the program and are using it? If so does it work well?

Re: OPOS Support

I sincerely apologize for forgetting about this. I had to take a long break away from a lot of projects. Can someone please test this out for me if you have OPOS? I found this in my archives and have posted it online. Follow the directions at the end of the install. Make sure you install to your POS...

OPOS Support

I have successfully created an "OPOS" interface for DHPOS. Not sure if anyone wants it. Basically, when you print to a file, the program (which sits in the systray), will print a receipt using the OPOS drivers to the receipt printer. If anyone is familiar with OPOS, then you should know what it will...

Re: Price Checker

R.J., You can email it to me and I can post it on the 3 party software page. However you have to write a description of the program for me to post that will get folks to download it. Since the program is several years old are you sure that it will work with the current stock table? Dale Hey Dale, I...

Re: Price Checker

Hi RJ, not to rain on your parade - but Dale added a price checker to the application a while ago :) See http://www.dhpos.com/postip9.htm#check for details, if your application offers something different I'm sure Dale would be happy to take it on board. You'd probably have to email the file(s) to h...

Price Checker

It's been quite a while, but I'm back on the forums..... Also, I'm Not sure if anyone is interested, but I just found a Price Checker program I wrote over 2 years ago. It is full screen, password protected, and works with Dale's POS stock table. I was going to work on it again, but had to ask if the...

I'm back...

Well, after a long (and a very long) absence from this website, I have returned again. I have been extremely busy working 3 jobs and have taken a break. Now that I have some free time, I could probably finish up the add-ons I've been working on for Dale's POS.

Good to be back everyone...

Are you going to name it DHPOS for Windows? Is that legal to take the name? haha just kidding.

If you want to simplify the list portion, why not use the grid control provided with VB2005? It's not real powerful, but can be used for simple applications.

Yes, the touch-screen portion of it is the main reason, but also for advertising purposes. example... scrolling message, header text, and hopefully soon a "slideshow" box where you can put your own images. I'm almost done the next beta version and will let you know when it is complete.

I am back now and started working out the bugs in the program. Of all of the POS programming I do at my job and in my free time, I never did any currency changes. Would all that need to be done is just change the $ sign to the £ symbol? would it be 2.00£ or £2.00? This would be added as an option in...

Thanks Andrew. I found that bug the other day and fixed it. As far as displaying graphics/movies, I can probably add that in, but not right away. I just want the functionality to work right now interfacing with Dales TBL file. I still have to add options in for customizing the colors, etc. Right now...

Spelling

Here's a minor bug:

When you go into the File Maintenance screen, I THINK, or the POSCONFIG from the POS.EXE program, and go to the password prompt screen, MAINTENANCE is spelled wrong. On the screen, it says MAINENACE. I don't have the screen in front of me but know it is on one of them.
