Receipt head and foot over network problem
And the award for most returned member goes to me! I've found another issue that may or may not be me. I have two computers on a network with one of them the server and register 1. The global folder is completely separate from the register folder on it. My issue is that my receipt head and foot are ...

Re: Aprint dosn't like my printer
Hi Victor, I have it set to image mode. The font is set to Currier New size 6 regular in aprint. It clips about half the last character in the extended price lines but works for me. I also have it set to pop the drawer before printing in the driver. Another little annoyance I found with these printe...

Aprint dosn't like my printer
Thanks for the reply Dale, I did have the printer selected, and driver installed but it wouldn't go to the next screen where you set the font and size. I was able to talk the guy I'm helping with this into going to computers running XP and that fixed the problem but they still are cheap 30ish chr pr...

Aprint dosn't like my printer

When I click the select printer button it pops up the "print" dialog box but when I click "ok" it just goes back to aprint, no font...

Re: 3td Party Software Fotoannahme
Dale, I think what he's asking for is to have stock numbers that can act like pressing F4 to launch a third party app when it is scanned.

Re: dhpos and linux
I'm by no means a linux expert but have you tried changing the owner of the file to the user your using to run dosmu and pos. Otherwise check that your user has full read write privliges to all the pos files and its folder.

Re: dhpos and linux
It works, it works!
I got it to work over a network. The debian box crashed when the screen saver turned on, but it worked. Now I can call it a night.

Your AUTOEXEC.BAT file is located right in your C: directory. You may have to unhide your system files to see it. Then right click it and goto edit. Inside notepad just add a line saying "CD (path to pos)" and another line saying "pos.exe". Obviously if you have a version of windows that is launched...
