ok, I have X installed, but my onboard video card (Via Chrome 9) won't support X, when I try to run the x config tool my system always hangs. right, I have no X otherwise I would probably use wine, yes I need it with networking support so I can have the global on the server and then client on the dekstops

I am running Fedora Core 9 on a Dual Core AMD Athalon 3800 with 2 gigs ram, I just installed dos box in linux, it is a fresh install, it also has apache, mysql, samba, bind dns, and email server on it

there used to be a step by step guide on how to install on linux using doxbox (I am running a server, so X is not installed), anyone know what happened to the step by step guide?

I have checked, and given read/write access to the POS group, and the user I am using for it is part of that group

Hi, I am running dhpos on fedora core 5 under dosemu, but it keeps on telling me that I have no read/write access when I try to run the program, any idea as to how I fix this? because of this it will not let me run the posconfig file or anything like that, many thanks

HI Dale,
I was wondering if it were possible to create a main menu option for the timers so that you could access and start the timers from within the main menu instead of having to go into the sales screen to start the timers is this possible?

ok sorry I haven't been around, I have been busy with work first set static ip addresses for both computers and set the subnet mask as well. then install dhpos twice on one of the computers and only once on the other, and then on the computer that it is shared twice set one of them us as the global ...

could you be more specific, are you using a hub or a cross over cable, also if you are using a hub is it going to be a router with DHCP enabled on it or are you doing static ip addresses(manally assigned ip addresses) once I have these I should be able to help you, many thanks
