Re: Weird DHPOS downloads
As far as i can remember, these 'direct downloads' are just ads and the title of them reflect what your search for on that site, or what someone has searched for before i think :/ Usually they take you to a site where you have to sign up and pay, then chances are the download won't even work. Below ...

Re: Free Backoffice Software for DHPOS
small, To be honest, i don't think employees that wouldn't be authorised to use the backoffice would know what folder to look in, never mind what file amongst the amount of dhpos files with the backoffice files, and be able to open it with notepad to look at it...just to gain access to the backoffic...

Re: Free Backoffice Software for DHPOS
Yep, what cpb14 said is basically what it does. You can access the stock table easily under Stock Management, and can run most of the programs for dhpos. It is lockable (you can put a password on to keep out unauthorised users). Give it a try if you have a minute.

Re: Printing to CR280 Plus model Cash Register
Hi, I've been down this road before, and as far as i know, its not possible. Cash registers like the one you have are just electronics, no computer (as in having an OS or else) in them - so the printer on it will be hardwired straight to the circuit boards inside the till - same as the cash drawer. ...

Symbol LS2208 Scanner
Hi, I've got a Symbol LS2208 Barcode Scanner. It has a serial connection, i've plugged it into COM2 and enabled SerialKeys in XP on COM2 with 9600 baud rate. Tried restarting and the scanner will not scan the barcode into windows. I've reprogrammed the scanner with the manual (the settings barcodes)...

Re: Quick Cash Feature!
Instead of Dale having to code all this you could just re-configure your keyboard. A program such as this: http://www.klm32.com/KbdEdit.html lets you configure a key (when pressed) to enter characters. So for your problem, pick a key and for the $100 have the character '10000' and ascii 13 to simula...
