We use Windows XP :), I like Windows XP! the only problem is that darn Windows key where you can press and it goes into Windows and you can play games, SURF THE INTERNET DURING DOWNTIME, etc... this program was somewhere in the old POS forum with network54, try searching the archives, I dont know where it is. Then again, try hooking up the drawer into your computers RJ45 (Ethernet) port. Or buy some kind of Ethernet to USB converter (they do not exist I think :) )

The seller said the cash drawer worked and the scanner worked. But and it says there is a paralell port for the printer.

Some places like restaurants have limited space and have no room for a seperate keyboard, so this is a good idea for those restaurants :)

There is a program that lets you click a button to pop open a drawer. Did you try hooking the RJ-45 into your Computers' RJ-45 port?

Id use On screen keyboard because it doenst matter if POS is full screen or not because the touch-screen is facing you :) the customer wont see Windows. And you can change the size of the Keys on the on screen keyboard.

Thanks, exactly what I needed exept for one prob, I kinda pluged a 12v Telephone power adapter to the scanner and it kinda blew up and shorted out the scanner :)

Sfrk001-2 is me, I just didnt want to login cause I was too lazy :) anyways, I think about 4 Registers and 1 server all running Windows XP Home Edition. I got DHPOS to run fine in Windows XP :)
