Small Error in Tips Routine

I've noticed that when you've got tips activated and the customer pays cash, there's a screen error affecting the change amounts. See below http://www.flightsim.ukgo.com/picuploads/Pos50s.jpg The correct figure prints OK on the receipt but it could lead to the customer being given too much change if...

I see this printer has the following emulations ESC/POS; Epson TM-T80, TM-T85, TM-300D; NCR 7193; Star TSP-300D; Verifone 900/250, Citizen CBM-231 Try using the codes that apply for each one of those - you might be lucky Oh, and by the way, one of the things that people frequently overlook is settin...

So post your email address and phone number so the folks that do not know what they are doing with serial printers can contact you instead of filling up my email and answering machine with their desparate pleas for help.

:) From the port data given, there is no obvious reason why this model won't work - but it wouldn't be of much use for serious POS work if it doesn't have a cash drawer port. By the way, I use serial printers all the time - Epson, CBM, Star but obviously never this one - and find them no different t...

Hiya shaz, You can park up to 255 in-progress sales and call them up from any till You can manage your stock levels easily so long as you take the trouble to add stock when it is delivered Food and drink can be on file as separate categories no problem and you can add items from each category to a p...

Will have to try that out. I'm just doing a 2 register system one of which prints to a page printer in 80 cols. I've found that it prints OK either directly via LPT1 or using Aprint2 but either way there's a long delay before it starts to print.

ahem...I don't actually for a 1-user system but you're rather forced into it for a 2/multi register system

:D he he - that's got him going Actually what it is, quite often you can pick up bargains on Ebay and sometimes they're parallel and sometimes they're serial. I got a CBM1000 (beautiful little printer) that turned out to be serial and I didn't really even try it out because of the 'problems'. Luckil...

:D Was experimenting with a TM-T88II serial this evening. Tried installing it in DHPOS in an XP Pro environment and although it printed a perfect sample receipt via APRINT2, it wouldn't print a real receipt. Just kept chomping the paper with the cutter. But was a breeze in 98SE. Installed as easy (m...

I've tried one or two serial printers just lately (Epson and Star) and all have worked fine.

Seriously.

I'll have to be totally honest and say that I don't like this at all. Who can possibly want a permanent report on hourly sales in their business? The most you'd ever want is to be able to set up 'snap shots' every now and again to help you decide on promos, staff levels and such. You'd never have ti...

Dale, I haven't looked at it because I'm not interested in the feature, but I'm hoping that you can turn it off and if you do you won't get this infinite file growing like topsy on your harddrive. Right?

If you're talking about lines between the data on the printout, I think you must have set your printer up for Force Line Feed = YES

If so try changing that back to NO as it looks as though your printer is doing a CR at the end of each line and then you are making it do another one.
