hmm

You could create a Virtual Private Network, but it all depends on what version of Windows you are running.

Min req's / DH-POS under XP

Well my recommended minimum config for XP is: Pentium II 400Mhz, 128 (256+ would be better) 4Gb HDD. It would'nt be able to do very much due to the lack of processor power, but Office 97/2000/XP would run fine as would DH-POS. A more realistic minimum spec for XP is a PIII 800 or faster processor, 5...

OK!

Time to add my label printer to POS then!

I've got 2x Zebra/Eltron Parallel thermal label printers!

Another printer that will be useful to folk on here is the Epson TM-L60II which is a baby label printer (similar to the TM-T80)

Go into the printer options bit in DH-POS, I think its to do with your line feed and continous page settings - you may with to play around with these to get it fine tuned. I've not got DH-POS on these PC at the moment so I can't tell you the exact options, but no doubt somebody else on the forum can...

Hmm

why don't you visit the Epson POS site to download the driver for your Epson TM-U300P ?

Sign up free to the Epson site here - https://www.epsonexpert.com/login.htm

You do not need a DOS driver or any driver really for to use the printer with DH-POS as its the Parallel version of the printer.

Just to check - you did set it back to both Green lights being on (Select button) before trying to print? They usually work best on 9600 or 12900 baud, with parity set to none iirc. I did actually have the setup guide for one somewhere. If all of what is suggested has'nt worked, then i'm concerned t...

Alan's EPOS Collection is for sale!

Hi folks, I'm selling most of my EPOS equipment, as I need the cash for another project. These items would be mostly of interest to folks in the UK. I can probably rustle up some Parallel cards for the non-P printers for DHPOS users. Epson TM-88IIIP http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ca...
