Yes i've got a Preh Commander MC128, i've programmed all the keys.
I think it was the Alt - Break command I used to program it (using a keyboard plugged into the Preh)

Do remember folks, that running a standard PC in a resturant kitchen is not always recommended (especially if you have a fryer!) Some components like to corrode in the atmosphere if they are not shielded properly. The most common form of sending an order to the kitchen is to a remote printer or by a...

Ah
I've got one of these types of Epson pole, alas mine is from an Epson IR-300 register. I've tried running it through my Epson H6000 which has the correct "Hydra" pass through port to no avail (no power)
You would need power to the RJ-45 lead too....

And another type
Another program that I use is the freeware RealVNC program, which can remotely control or view another PC's screen. IIRC it will only see POS if its running in a window.
You can also disable the users keyboard & mouse remotely if you want to take over.

Interestingly enough, in the UK the vast majority of till equipment uses the serial port!! Keyboards, Scanners, Scales, Touchscreen, Reciept Printers, Slip printers. I finally came across a generic LED type keyboard wedge scanner lying in a box! IIRC can you not use Accessibity Options to accept ser...

Also
You can put a password on both the BIOS and system startup, so that it can't even go into Windows/DOS without a password being entered.

You could always make another stock item in stock table with half the price? So when you scan both items it is billed at the price of one to the customer?
Alternatively you could create one stock item for 2x Coke bottles at 1.00?

Sounds like the 40/80 character part of the printer setup in DH-POS has reset to 40, try setting it back to 80.

Handy for testing though
The reciept printing at startup drives me mad when I'm testing DH-POS, sending reciepts flying out everywhere - so its a good thing with a disclaimer.
