I would agree.

Even though it may come in handy randomly, and on rare occasion...the headache would far excede the benifit gained from that change. I vote for it to remain the way it currently is.

Not sure if that would work

That sounds like a great idea, but if I'm not mistaken, when you would attempt to print a receipt on a 40 collum printer, it would print the first 40 characters, then new line, and the remaining 40 characters for all the lines. So you'd end up with a funky looking receipt, instead of a cash invoice.

Different Printer Widths...

Hey Dale & Co.... I acutally use a setup simular, where the cash registers have 40 characters/line, and the office is a 'standard' 80 characters/line printer. I'm sure we can all figure out that the printers with the registers are used for receipts, and I use the larger format in the office for prin...

Ehh...

You're probably right, I do like the simplicity of the new store. The oval logo reminds me of the stickers you see on cars. Like OBX for Outer Banks, NC. MB for Myrtle Beach, SC. OI for Oak Island, etc.... I think they're based on stickers used for identifying your home country in the European natio...

Gotta love the Neilsen's...

Growing up we had a box on our TV, always wanted to open it up to see how it worked...yet they tend to get upset when you start to tear apart thier devices. Wonder if Mom still has it? Hmm......<reaches for a screw driver> Anywho, this is pretty cool. We have a simular device for the online shoppers...

Yes they do...

Chris, Read the site again, under "services"...and I quote... "What We Do We'll work with your customers to learn more about their type of business, annual sales volume, and average transaction amount. Once we've established the most advantageous platform for their type of business we'll complete th...

About the new Title for the forum...

I'm really glad that you were so bored and figured out a way to hack your way into the forum....and it's shocking that there's such loose security on a forum that discusses freeware. I don't think I've slept in a over a hour in worry that someone may hack back into the forum and change the title bac...

As easy as that sounds...

Try getting DHPOS to allow you to set the quantity to -1. Even though it sounds like a great idea, it usually ends up throwing a number off somewhere. If memory serves, on the old BMI terminals I once worked... To refund an item you would hit [Refund] then scan/enter the item normally. I think it ju...
