a few things i found when running windows was that windows takes over the com ports and doesnot allow dos programs to use them so if you have a small bootable hdd in dos set the port speed right and set up the dhpos and all should / will work, the other obstical i had was an incorect serial printer ...

well i first thought of being able to scan each video with own barcode then return it... then if you return it the money comes back in then thought of that having the video as 0.00 price then adding the rental as another code.. but i am unsure how you can track diferent barcodes to your customers an...

yes had the same problem, just go date format in pos config and change it for the easy option,,,

it was brought to my attention about 3 weeks ago and forgot to mention it on here,..

it prints the same as whats on screen

i am running it in pure dos too

well in windows pressing f1 opens up help and does not exit pos config

Right at the start of the system you can select to print or not to print day totals

when i try it it take 30 seconds or so to load up if you do not print but if you print its fast and works instant

how many other people have this problem?

looks realy cool, but sadly not for use in dos

i agree, default ammount and still to keep the draw opening, if you going to over tender that should be put as cashback! which would be good defaulted as 0.00 and ready for over type!
