Re: Budget-tip: Poledisplay using Android device
Johann, Neat-o However let me restate your warning about others bugging me with requests for help with this by stating that my total knowledge of anything "Android" is how to spell it. I have never even touched a tablet of any kind and my cell phone is a flip phone that almost never gets used. My mo...

Re: DHPOS timer bug
Fifo, I am fine with serial printers. I have never tried to use one so I personally have never been disappointed by one. However I receive lots of email, phone calls, and posts from folks that have been struggling with their serial printer for days or weeks with no luck in getting it to work. So whi...

Re: Simplify Journal report?
Big log, I just ran a sale here with a sale price and the sale price ended up in the file of past sales and therefore can be viewed when using 5. Voids. I then ran the REC2CSV.EXE program and the sale price (and the customer info) ended up in the .CSV file. So now it is up to Bruce (since I do not k...

Re: Simplify Journal report?
Biglog,
Bruce's program take the information from the file of past transactions. What you see there will be what is in the .CSV file. To view a past transaction press "5. Voids" from the main DHPOS menu.

Re: HOW TO JOIN THIS FORUM.
Since Jon fixed this forum earlier this year so that folks can register I have been having lots of fun. It seems as though there are a lot of folks out there that run "bots" that try to automatically register to random bulletin boards. they then use these registrations to post spam messages on the b...

64 bit version of DHPOS
A small candle has been lit in the darkness or 2 steps toward 64 bits. The problem that I have just overcome is a data type that is not supported in QB64. The current version of the program uses the “Currency” type (type declaration character data = @) in QuickBASIC 7.1 for some functions. This is a...

A second text string data file has been uploaded. That one is for the FILEINFO.EXE file which does the "8. Reports" feature.

Forum spam
I expect that the posts in the language forums will not be in English. This means that I will have no idea what is posted there. So if someone goes off the rails and starts posting spam I will depend on the other forum users to let me know so that I can delete both the spam and the user.
Thanks,
Dale
