Re: Voids

I am not talking about Voiding already voided transactions. This should help the confusion. Also, I am not talking abour Clean voids, I am talking about Voids just like you do with sales in DHPOS. Chris, Well, a couple of reasons. 1. I cannot see any reasons why you would want to (or would be allowe...

Re: What?

Okay, Forget that I said that. If you have barcodes 1 through 8, you might have a barcode sheet at the register for fast entry. Actually what you did say was "Not everyone uses barcodes in their store" and I would assume that this means that they do not have a scanner either. Actually it would be ki...

Re: Programmable keyboards

If you really wanted to, you could have things like: [+] 1 [ENTER] for a "Cash" button [+] 2 [ENTER] for a "Check" button [+] 3 [ENTER] for a "Credit" or "Credit/Debit" button Just a Suggestion, Chris kw2303, You can program keys on a programmable keyboard to be any key you want them to be or even s...

PIN Lock

Yes, I like the idea of using the PIN to lock the register. But what if you are using non-PIN employees or no employees at all?

Voids

I am using 4.28 - the latest stable version. Also, I am talking about Voiding whole transactions, Not just lines in the transactions. Voiding transactions after they have been completed by using the 5. Voids feature. Are you allowed to Void all types of transactions in POSnet (Purchased/Returns/Payo...

Voids

As you know, most POS systems let you Void any kind of transaction. Why is this different on DHPOS??? I mean, if you made a mistake on a Return or Payout transaction, What would you do? If you are not able to Void it, it could seriously throw off your drawer count and you would still have incorrect ...

Scanner Feature in POSCONFG

In the Scanner feature, when you select option 1, you get the following feature option: 1. If the Stock Number is entered within 1 second and is greater than 999999, then it is automaticly assumed that it was scanned..... The only thing that should be changed is the 999999 rule. Some stores, like th...

Splitting-Up POS.EXE

Well, It's just an idea but if you really needed to, You could split POS.EXE or another file into two files so that way eact file gets 640K of memory. The only thing is that this would take a Major re-write of that file and you would also have to ba able to get the two files to work together....
