Do you know of any good compilers?

If I remember correctly there are some compatability issues with using serial barcode readers with any EPOS system. I know for sure there is a compatability between DHPOS and the Symbol LS serial scanner range. I tested it once with one of our systems and the DHPOS software and it didnt seem to like...

Re: I'm back!

I have a confession to make.....I've been away from here for ages....because I'm now working as a Siemens EPOS Field Engineer, repairing tills for the largest supermarket chain in the UK.... Interestingly they use Win32 based DOS screens on their tills! Alan Mod Would that be TESCO's??? I often see...

Hi Zed,

I know for sure that the TM-T60 printers are useless for use with DHPOS. Not compatable at all..

After every print out it will feed 50 lines!

EPSON have discontinued this model because of several known faults. This is why the drivers are not available.

Hi Renè,

There is a limit to how many numbers you can have in the stock tables for POS. I think it's 14 or something.

Are you sure the barcodes you're scanning no longer than 14 numbers long? If not then I would say it is a barcode reader fault.

thats the only down point with IBM, they use their own ports so you have to connect to the drivers for it.

will have to look elsewhere for pos software.

heres the problem you see... IBM SurePOS 4690 systems can only run dos and I need an aprint to work in dos so I can use the default printer drivers. They dont do the drivers for windows.
