Stuff

Peggi, Some good news, some bad news. A) Of course the secret to getting daily sales is to close out the register (not just exit the program) at the end of every day. VPN

I am viewing this not so much as being used to run multiple stores over the same network but to use it to be able to validate gift cards for multiple stores. Gift cards

Rollerball, The score so far.... Changing prices from the receiving program... maybe 6 or so. Gift cards... uncountable multitudes. It seems that many businesses are basing their future on selling gift cards, I know my host store does. A lot of shops want hundreds, if not thousands, if not tens of t...

Support

Sure some people support this cause but is anyone throwing kuggerands at me to get it? Or have they found a place on the receiving screen where this mystery column for entering new prices will go? Maybe glue an additional monitor to the right of the current monitor? Nope, not yet. Anyway, right now ...

Robert,

In the "Journal" feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program do you have "Erase and reset the journal at the start of the next day" set to "YES"?

Maybe

brucef2112, First you will have to realize that I truely hate the (*) key. It just sits there on the keyboard staring at you with it's one eye. And it is shifty, some times it is there above the alphabet keys, and then when you look over on the numeric keypad it is there, but when you looks back to ...

Oops

Oops, you are correct the options are 20 wide, 40 wide, and 40 wide with scrolling. The program has so many options that sometimes I forget what some of them are. Unfortunately I do not have XP here so I so not know what is causing the problem. Although several other XP users have said that they got...
