Okay, this is the data collection termainl type with keys i assume? If so you need a actual cradle and a USB or Serial connection and that would be 50-70 bucks on ebay If it is just the imaget tye with no keys and no dataterminal features, then a cable will be about 40 dollars and a decoder about 20...

ow about some details? Do you just want a program that will draw the numbers in random order? That would be about 10 lines of code.
Thates that yes it would be simple. A good project for a begining coder

ahh yes

The other thing to check is if you havethe the NIC (ethernet card).
Justanother pointer
A PCI card ethernet card seems to run a bit faster than an integrated card

This would be a good project and as was stated earlier, DHuser offerd a premade file that just needed heading changes. maybe aobvious problem

This may be a quite obvious problem, Do you now if the user is using 10MBPS ethernet or 100MBPS ethenet? If it is 10MBPS, it is the culprit and needs obe replaced to increse speed.

I may be wrong here but i think the purpose of this program was not for playing games but for use at a acctual airport.
