lemon535,
When you close out the register using option #2, at the end of the process you will be asked if you want to "Reset the merchandise data" If you answer "YES" the totals for pieces sold and value sold in the stock table will be reset to zero.

Nope
kbunady,
I am assuming that you are asking about rounding the "pieces" of the time units that have been sold. This would be possible but the program does not do this at the present time.
Why would you want to?

PURCHASE.EXE
This sounds like a job for the PURCHASE.EXE program! Able to leap tall buildings, faster than a speeding bullet, and won't swipe your candy bar when you're not looking! Does a lot if the math for you too, but that is just a bonus.

Nope
kbunady, Nope. However you can sort by one field and then do sub sorts by specifying the start line and end line of each subgroup you want to sort, although that does not sound like a fun way to spend an afternoon. If I was doing this I would leave spaces between the vendors and then when adding new...

More
But here is some new stuff for the "Timer" feature. If you close several timers at one time the total time for all the timers will be returned to the sale. Previously only the last timer closed was sent. You may also set “FIRST ?? MINUTES FREE.” If your customers require a setup time (put on shoes, ...

Code space
Yep, it is a lot of code to add an additional format to the receipts. And there is little code space left with many important features to come. There would have to be A LOT of users wanting this. For example, on the recent "zeros / rounding" feature, entire countries need this feature or could not u...

One curtomer at two different registers?
Lemon535. That is a problem but I know of no way in DOS when unlocking the file to then limit access to only one register. That would have to be done by the network software. As far as two different registers using the same code to save their sales at the exact same time one way to prevent that woul...

Size
That would double the size of the .REC file which is already 20 megabytes. And of course changing the format of the .REC file would mean that you would lose the sales currently in there.

New POS version 6.39g released on 11-16-06
There has been a change in the "Rounding" feature. The rounding factors of ".01" to "1" remain the same but there are new rounding factors of "10" to "10000". Here are the instructions... <hr> If you set a rounding factor from "10" to "10000" then currency values throughout the program will be round...

Parking
ChrisKraus,
Gee, at Wolcott St. and Chicago Av. I could hop a rapid transit train and be there in 20 minutes. I used to live a block west of Wolcott although a few miles north of Chicago Av.
But anyway, it seems as though these folks already have an automatic method of running their operation.
