Great Info
Hello Dale, You have got this figured out almost perfect. One thing that I find redundant is selecting "gift cards" then "Yes." Then you give an option "1" - do not sell gift cards. That seems to me to be an extra step. If I did not want to sell gift cards, I would just chose "No." Everything else s...

Yes for void
Hello Dale, I vote for being able to void gift card sales. I have worked with 5+ different major retail pos systems and they all allow this. Yes, there is always a chance for theft and fraud. I think that if this gift card idea is to be implemented that it should be fully implemented. There should b...

Date Format Bug
Hi Dale, Just wanted to let you know that there is a date format bug. I am not sure what version that it started in, but I saw it in 6.39f. I thought that I needed to update, but it is still here in 6.39g. What happens is that I use the date format "01 Jan 2000" That is the way that I like it to pri...

Floppies!?!?!
Floppies are still around???
I say, one zip file, but the zipped file contains two folders... the essentials for those who still use floppies, and the optional components for those who need them. That way, only one file will have to be downloaded.

use the transaction number
just an idea, you could use the transaction number. that way, the cashier does not have to make up the number, and unless you have more than 9999 transactions, you will not repeat a number. also, the "picklists" can ref to the sales slips.

visual error
hello dale,
noticed on the currency screen, that it says:
"[F1] DOALWAYSrint currency #2 total on all receipts."
and when you press [F1]:
"[F1] DODO NOTrint currency #2 total on all receipts."
There is an additional DO at the beginning and a missing space and P in print.
Thank you,
Bobby

Yes, I know
Hello,
Yes, I know that these are additional number, and what I am saying is that they are not printing up. I get the normal transaction numbers, but the additional alternate numbers are not printing on the receipt.
Thanks,
Bobby

Alternate Transaction Numbers
Hello,
I have been trying to get the alternate transaction option to work, and it is not working. No matter what changes I make in the printer setup, it is still printing 4 tranaction numbers and no alternate tranactions numbers. I am using the latest version, 6.37.
Thanks,
Bobby

my insight
Hello, Here is what I have experienced: 1. Yes, the sales of giftcards go into a seperate account. They are not counted towards sales until they are redeemed. 2. It is concidered a debt, but since it is a seperate account, it does not affect your sales until it is redeemed. 3. eventually, the gift c...
