That sounds like a great idea, but if I'm not mistaken, when you would attempt to print a receipt on a 40 collum printer, it would print the first 40 characters, then new line, and the remaining 40 characters for all the lines. So you'd end up with a funky looking receipt, instead of a cash invoice...

Hi, Let me tell u my solution for it... I put those header and footer that i appear in both 40 width and 80 width in the first 40 character. ok...i set up 2 POS, 1 use for regular cash sale(receipt printer with 40 width), another one for printing cash invoice (regular printer with 80width) which I would had more information to the header and footer, like, signature, footnote....while in receipt printer i just need to print out clean rece...

I had a few question for setup the network DHPOS here. 1. As the Register manual mentioned that, I had to run GLOBAL POS first then run the LOCAL POS. So,how to make it autorun on windows? Which mean I have to autorun the GLOBAL then LOCAL; do i have to turn off the GLOBAL after all...If i dont turn...

I'm not too sure what you mean here. The cashier was meant to ring up a 60.00 item in a sale but left it as 0.00? If she tendered cash 60.00, DHPOS would have prompted that the cashier then owed the customer 60.00 in change. 60.00 (tender) - 0.00 (sale total) = 60.00 (change) Hence, DHPOS would not...

Hi, This is a mistake done by my cashier. There are certain item in my store that the price is 0.00 and after the order then the price can be determined. In a situation that customer want to exchange product with other product...so i either collect the or give back diff. So, is it possible to do RETURN in PURCHASE so that i dont have to goto RETURN and come back to PURCHASE agin...but in real trancastion i dont give back the customer money on return ...
