Stock table a mess!
I am trying this out and I cannot add any items into the stock table. The stock table, at first, behaves and acts like it should. When I go into a sale, first, it will on bring up the item by any means (sn, letter, or vn). Then when I go into the stock table, the table is a mess with all kinds of ch...

Re: Tax Not adding up correctly?
Hello,GAWG wrote:For a week's sales, the report said: grossed 81.97, taxes @4.5% for 3.22 and net 78.45
I thought that maybe the numbers might have just got switched around (i.e. 3.22 really being 3.52) since the difference between the gross and net were 3.52.

Right
no, you are right, press f6 then it gives you a list of options for the parked sale. without the options, though, the program would not know what to do with the sale that you are in.

Reversed
Hello, I think that you just have this reversed. $78.45 * 4.5% = $3.53 $78.45 + $3.53 = $81.98 the 78.45 is your net sales the 3.52 is you taxes the 81.97 is you sales + taxes It is very likely that the totals are a penny off due to rounding issues with tax. In the actual sales, you are not multiply...

free vs $300
pos payroll = free payclock ez = $99 ($300 for 150 employees) I wonder sometimes, Chris, if you realize that this is not a commercial site. These are volunteers that are taking personal time to devote to these programs. They are not getting paid to do this. Pos Payroll was developed to work with DH ...

Merchant Equiptment
Wouldn't that information print out on your merchant equiptment's receipt? Or, if you do manual forms, most businesses endorse the cards and you can see right away what kind of card it was. This type of information stored in the POS program, I feel would be useless and take up valuable space. I stil...

Opps
Ok, SORRY, I was looking into a different *.pos and I see that the check information in that file does print on the receipt and the *.jnl file, but the tax-exempt info still does not. Sorry for not fully investigating my info before I posted. I still would like to know if it is possible to get the t...

Information on Journal
Hi Dale, I do not remember if this has been discussed before, but I was looking through my journal, an I noticed that none of the check information or tax-exempt infomation appeared on the journal. I think that this would be helpful to be printed there as I cannot see any reason to enter it into the...

Nope
Hi,
Sorry, I did not notice this problem. If there is no idx file, receive.exe and inventory.bat both recognize that, but it is not an error. It just means that I have no inventory file for that *.pos. It is not giving me an error with *.pos files that do track inventory.

That's it
Dale,
That worked fine here. I tried an eight digit password in 4.28. Worked find then I switched it to a four digit password and it worked fine. In 5.09B, I added four spaces after my four digit password and it worked fine. I think you have squashed this one.
Thanks!

It happened here.
Yes, if I have a master password and it is set to 1 and a no sale password and it is set to one, the no sale password is invalid and only the master password works. I am using version 4.28 and 5.09B. I tested this in both versions.
