I did a sale to try and activate a Gift Card. I scanned the card, and then completed the sale, but then the receipt didn't contain the Card #. I checked the Card balance, and it was 0. It's A CCD barcode scanner - goes for about $35 with shipping.
Needs about 6 inches line of sight - okay for occasional scanning (like testing)

I believe that when you are in the printable Gift Card design mode, you can edit the top line where it says Gift Card to what you want, which is reflected throughout the program, except the receipt language, which you need to edit separately.

I have also noticed this problem. The transaction amount is not deducted from the gift card used to pay for adding to another card.

Is it possible to run DHPOS on a Mac using Parallels Workstation or Boot Camp with an installation of Windows?

I googled it a little and could only find distributors, not a company website.

I think the problem is similar to using non-keyboard wedge style barcode readers. It just doesn't interface well with a DOS program. I believe I tried a Serial Port Barcode Reader with DHPOS a long time ago, and I think it barely worked. This was the kind that you had to install desktop software to ...
