Sure. It'd be easy to setup, you'd setup your stock table with all the beverages, and ring them up like any other sale. You could even assign barcodes to them and strap them to the register for quick access. This software is super powerful, it beats the other POS solutions I've tried (ComCash, Quick...

PDF Manual

For what it's worth, I'm going to attempt to making a 'printer friendly' PDF for Dale's register when I have some spare time. It's not going to be any different than what Dale has, just margins laid out different, text and paragraph formatting, etc. I have an Associates in Visual Communications, so ...

Yeah, I see your point Andrew.

Thanks for clearing that up. As for networking the registers, for anyone interested, the announcement Dale made on here for networking help, I posted a link from an old thread that walks you through step by step.

POSnet what if...

So I started thinking... this is probably a shot in the dark and worth testing... Why can't POS be ran OVER a network, instead of having a local folder, running the POS directly from the server? Wouldn't all the registers maintain the same data as the server? Or am I just letting my mind wonder too ...

It could. Many users use eBay, PayPal is associated. With electronic funds, then people could instantly send donations.

I'm not saying it would, but it would HELP OUT in getting donations.

Download numbers are great, donation numbers are bad. You should really set up a PayPal acct. for donations Dale.

Sure thing, I designed it for any uses anyone wants to use it for...

consider it as 'open source'.

If anyone needs a higher res. or widescreen version, let me know. I'll be more than happy to help.

that's true too Andrew, the design of sites is how I can tell how 'professional' a company is. If the site looks not up to par I don't order anything from them.

Just to let you guys know though, my design expertise is always available to you all.

DHPOS Wallpaper

Here's a simple 1024x768 wallpaper I made for workstations running DHPOS. Enjoy. http://home.graffiti.net/bford/DHPOSWallpaper.jpg To set as your background, right click the image and set it as your background, or you can save the image and store it somewhere. Andrew - Full Name, like "The Thrift and Hobby Shop"

Dale, no problem, just curious, I'll probably leave the register name blank.

Yeah, the boards seem a little inactive, don't know if it's due to the fact it's the end of the year or what...

Longer Store Name

I was wondering if there was a way to get a slightly longer (2-3 chars.) store name for the register?
