DHPOS cannot send a logo to the printer. If the printer itself has memory within which allows a logo to be stored, you'll need to find a manual/instructions on how to work that out with the printer.

Nice script - I note you would have to update it if Dale introduced any new file extensions. Perhaps you could use another "set" command to define the name of your register e.g. MARTHA, and then e.g. copy c:\pos\%regname%.* c:\pos\%folder% That would theoretically (it's been a while since I've done ...

Agreed, it is one of those odd combinations which is unlikely to be struck very often (or at all) - I just chipped in to confirm it and in what version :P

That's the whole point of the stock table - it's where stock is entered. The reason a snapshot is taken of it while in sale mode (as far as I'm aware) is to ensure the register can speedily find items keyed in by the cashier, without having to open the file and scan through 13,000 records to find ea...

Considering the small number of people who visit chat, I don't consider this a major need. Chat works fine for me on firefox, even better on IE - and it doesn't require users to install a chat client or register. I doubt using IRC would increase chat visitors, 99% of the time the lack of chatters is...

It just always has been called "voids", because that was the original function of the feature (and essentially still is). Dale will no doubt receive a barrage of emails, many containing death threats if he renames it now. An open/close transaction is just that, a transaction is created in the journa...

Forcing users into using a particular directory is a bit of a no-no. Some may use different drives other than C, or want the program in a particular folder for whatever reason. Back in the day, I wrote a DOS based basic Payroll application - at first it required particular folders for DHPOS, but I s...

When reporting a potential bug it's important to advise what version of DHPOS you're using, especially at the moment as we have several beta test versions in use. The version is shown in the bottom right of the main menu. Also - have you gone into POSCONFG and ensured that your tax settings are stil...

You won't need to be using DHPOS' network setup unless you have more than one register. You can just map a network drive to the folder in which DHPOS is running, and enter that drive letter into REMOTE.EXE It just shows you whatever is being outputted to the pole display data file, so it auto-scroll...

Powerbob, from the sounds of it you have not set the password mode for voids under "Passwords & Name" in POSCONFG. Beside "void" is a space for the password, and to the right of that is the password mode. Use the arrow keys to move down to the void password, and use the [Tab] key to toggle the mode ...

Look into the REMOTE.EXE application which comes with DHPOS. You can enter the file paths of your various POS installations and it will show their pole displays on-screen. However this is not purposely designed for kitchen use as it refreshes whatever is being outputted to the pole display data file...

Working fine for me as well.

At what stage during the sale are you pressing F6? There are some points at which it will not trigger the park feature. For example: after pressing + to get a subtotal and sitting at the "cancel, print sales check, print receipt" menu.

heman,

You might need to provide us with some more details, such as:
  • what version of DHPOS are you using
  • do you get any error messages
  • have you enabled the park sales feature in POSCONFG (by setting the number of allowed park sales to something greater than zero)?
