Merchandise Reports -H. Employee Reports

This SW is excellent !!!
I am planning to use this SW for my restaurant in HYDERABAD/AP, India. And doing some beta testing.
I am running into an issue.
Merchandise Reports -H. Employee by Stock: I am running this report. And it showsup correctly on the screen. And When I save as TXT file, saves the report correctly. But...when I save as a data file and open in Excel, it is showing the cummalative report of all the employees. Am I missing some thing? I am STUCK here..PLEASE HELP

Report "H" is working fine here. The information on the screen, in the data file, and in the text file all match. Can you give me any details? Are you doing manual reports or automatic reports?

I am doing manual reports.
I have created 2 test users and 3 Items.
First I ringup Purchase for 2 users separately with different Items and Quantities
Before closing the Register, I go to Merchandise Reports with H.Employee by Stock., Prompts me for thew associate number, when I give
the number, the report showsup on screen whisch is perfect. Saving as Data file gives TOTAL sales figures with total items and total quantities. And saving as TXT gives individual figures. I need the report in DATA file so that I can use in Excel.

I received your files and the data file is different from the text file.

So I spent an hour today making up report "H"'s. Then when it was on the screen I printed it, then saved a text file, then saved a data file. Then I loaded the text file into MS word and the data file into Excel and printed those out and compared them to the copy printed from DHPOS. All of them matched or atleast had the exact same data.

Well then I though the order did it might make a difference so I want back and did print, data, text, still all the same.

Data, text, print = still the same.

Text, data, print = Still the same.

So then I tried to omit one.

Data , print = still the same.

Text, print = still the same.

So just data = still the same.

You have me baffled on how you get the data file to be different.

What version of the DHPOS program do you have? If it is version 7.04 then try just downloading this file http://keyhut.com/fileinfo/exe to the folder where you keep the DHPOS and try it again. Any better?

I was using 7.04n..Now I have tried using the new POS ver 7.04p, but still producing same data file
Steps I am doing:
I created 2 users RAVI and SURESH.

First I ring a 1.Purchase on user RAVI , then take the 8.Reports. H.Employee by stock. Report is fine here.

Second I ring a 1.Purchase on user SURESH, then take the 8.Reports. H.Employee by stock.
Here the Report is messedup. I am getting Quantity of Items of both users put together.
But one thing I notice here: Pieces and Amount are cummalative BUT whereas The "total quantity" and "total amounts" are what it should be.

PS: I am not using any printer

I believe I may be doing a procedural mistake ?!? Is the above sequence correct ?

I downloaded the new file and ran the same order as lasttime and this time everything is printing correctly.

I can now move forward with further testing
