Maybe
Firenet,
Maybe. Which is an improvement over the previous answer which was "No."
Additional support has been added to the program (version 6.0 or later) to support serial cash drawers including a Windows driver. Reviews so far have been positive. Will it work with Windows XP and your brand of cash drawer? I have no idea. Try it out and let us know. Just make sure you can return the cash drawer if it does not work.

I use an APG cashdrawer through the com1 port. I have found that all required to open the drawer is simply a small file sent to the com1 port. I have created a file whos name is 0 no file extension. All I did was change serial1.bat to copy 0 com1 and hey it works. You may have to make sure working directories are set to the directory in which all of your POS files are stored. By defualt they are blank.
