Ok ok I get the point.

Because im on a very tight budget, cant really afford to dash out on 2 more receipt printers (parallel). Has anyone tested the Serial to Parallel convertors that are available? Would this replicate a serial printer to work as a parallel?

Thanks

Could you send me the setting for the printer i.e baud rate, party, stop bits, ect. this info can be got from the printer hold down the paper feed button and turn on the printer and it will print a test page with the info i need on the first page.

this is for one more thing that you could try.

i will make a batch file that will set a software patch get the parlell port to print to the serial port. you will not need any drivers for the printer in windows 98.

THANKS ALOT TONY!

That did the trick! So now I can use DHPOS, recipts print out and cash drawer is kicked out! FANTASTIC :)

Have you setup a TM60 or 80 before?

The only and final thing that is left now is the receipt columns dont align. Now I think this maybe due to 2 reasons, either cause im using 60mm and not 80mm paper (POSCONFG is set as 40 characters per line).

Or is it just the way it is with any POS setup to print directly to the LPT port without any drivers?

Thanks for everything, believe me this is the last problem that Im having.
Once this is sorted, Im singing and dancing!

Thanks

Hi Zed,

I know for sure that the TM-T60 printers are useless for use with DHPOS. Not compatable at all..

After every print out it will feed 50 lines!

EPSON have discontinued this model because of several known faults. This is why the drivers are not available.

[quote="peewee3ie"]when you are install the driver you should try tm-t80 driver if you can from what i rember about the tm-t60 should be using the same hardware in the printer. :|

if you do not have the drivers for tm-t80 printer let me know by this form. i will look for the driver that i have and put them on my web site. :D :?:[/quote

Any chance you could re-post the TM-T60 drivers on your website?

I'm desperate for them and can't find any other trace

Thanks
