resetting transactions

Post by shotovergarden » Fri Nov 25, 2005 8:26 pm

I am using the pos program in my fast food restaurant and I would like to reset the transaction number each day. Otherwise the person serving the food will have to call out up to a 4 digit number when the food is ready. Is there any way to do this.
Thanks
Derick

shotovergarden,

Nope, read this http://keyhut.com/faq.htm#transaction

You just could ignore the the first digit and call out the last three.

If you use the print sales check function - DHPOS will prompt you to park the sale by entering a code (numbers and/or letters) e.g. a table number.

This will print "PARKED AS ____" on the sales check which could go to the kitchen.
