Hello DHPOS Enthusiasts.
Without my reading Register.Txt,
where Dale plainly says- "Do Not Read
This Manual!", is there a list of the
files and what they do in Version 4
& Version 5?
So I would know what I can safely delete
after having experimented with features
that I'm not actually going to use?
Thanks.

Chasmit,

POS.EXE rings up sales
POSCONFG.EXE sets various parameters for the POS program
CF2.EXE sets other parameters for POS and accesses the customer info file.
FILEINFO.EXE does "Reports" and the "Stock Table"
CONVERT.EXE upgrades data files to the latest version.
RECEIVE.EXE receives merchandise and does inventories.
APRINT.EXE is used when print jobs are sent to the FILE: port.
INVENTOR.BAT converts RECEIVE.EXE form receiving to inventory.
SERIAL1.BAT opens serial cash drawers, maybe.
REGISTER.TXT is the user's guide.
Other .TXT files, load into your word processor and see.
Dale
