Hi,

Sorry, I did not notice this problem. If there is no idx file, receive.exe and inventory.bat both recognize that, but it is not an error. It just means that I have no inventory file for that *.pos. It is not giving me an error with *.pos files that do track inventory.

Is there any way that you can make a version where you can enter the costomer information before you start the sale (before you enter the stock number)?

You can do that now. Go to the "Customer info" feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program and press [F1]. That will change the POS.EXE program to take customer info at the beginning of the sale instead of at the end of the sale.

Is there any way that you can add a feture that after a sale it goes to the next sale but it asks for your employee number/pin?

In this BETA version I have fixed the error that Barry reported on loading the receiving / inventory file. The important information I needed to solve this problem was posted this morning but I cannot find the post again to get the name to thank him.

Anyway, this fixes the last reported bug in the program. I am posting this BETA version here http://keyhut.com/pos3.htm. Please try it out. If there are no reported bugs in this version it will become the release version 5.0

Hurry up, you only have 48 hours to find another bug. :)

Bugs

Well I found a couple of bugs in the "Customer info" feature. They have been squished and BETA 5.12 is here http://keyhut.com/pos3.htm

The clock is still running. If no other bugs are found it will be released in 24 hours.
