Hi everyone, I am currently working on/finished a way for dhpos to run over the internet using hamachi. detailed instructions comming soon. I am open to suggestions as to a program for a program that Dale and I are working on, that would send your daily sales info to a corporate office, and then there be a program at the corporate office that will read all of the daily sales information then assemble a corporate report for the day. We are open to ideas
Two ways...
There are two ways I can think of to persue that.
One: do like the company I work for does and make
a little program for POS to run at close that saves the
closing automatic reports output to a text file named as the
date and stick it in a folder. Then give corporate dial-up
access to the store's "server" and let them pull the files
together.
OR
Two: Make a program to take the automatic closing
reports output and put it into a text file and email the
sucker to a corporate dedicated email addy for reports.
THEN:
Write a small program to read all files in a specific directory
with a specific extension and compile a average report
based on tab-deliminated information contained therein.
THere ya go.....
