pole display help

hey, i bought a pole display the other day and have encountered a problem.
First of i think it it s partner tech, not sure but googling cd5220-II brings up stuff.
Ok my problem is that line 1 and line 2 is round the wrong way. for some reason this can be temporarily fixed by opening and closing pole.exe 10 times, and that moves the lines round (2 characters per open/close)
Anyway as soon as i turn off the display and turn it back on it goes back to the lines being opposite.
Is there anyway to swap the lines permanently??
