Bad Record Number in line 24...

Post by brucef2112 » Fri Dec 29, 2006 6:19 pm

Dale,
I tried to view previous sales through the Void screen.
As I'm browsing back I've gotten the following error msg.

Bad Record Number in line 24 of module POS3 at Address 23A3:B2E0
Hit anykey to return to system.

After hitting the anykey the program closes.

This has happened quite a few times this year.
I am running it on XP. I haven't notice anything consistent with each time this has happened. It seems that everything else is OK when I restart the program. However I just wanted to check with you to see if this is effects any reports or such. If so, if I send you the problem file, is it possible to clean it up/fix it. Or any suggestions to get the sales history file going again.

thanks,
bruce

Bug Report - viewing transaction history crashes program

Post by brucef2112 » Wed Jan 03, 2007 10:46 pm

Hi Dale,

I was using ver 6.38c and I've now updated my version to 6.39g however I am still getting the same
error message when trying to view previous transactions from the Void screen.

I have narrowed it down to any transaction which
has a COUPON / UNIT REDUCTION and a Percent Discount (setup under the F3 key).

If I go to the Void screen and try F5 to view this type of transaction the program throws the error message.

"Bad Record Number in line 24 of module POS3 at Address 23A3:B2E0"
"Hit anykey to return to system."

After hitting the AnyKey the program shuts down.

Any solution for this?

thanks,
bruce
