If you have a newer computer that does not have a parallel printer port, and you want to use a receipt printer, you have two options. Spend lots of bucks for a USB receipt printer and then you have to use the POS program while running APRINT2 to print anything. Or for less than $10.00 US you can purchase a parallel printer port card that will slip into one of your desktop computer's PCI slots.
This will require that your computer actually has a free PCI slot and a CD drive to load the driver.
Knowing how to open up your computer, and being able to recognize a PCI slot, is a definite plus.
Being able to operate a screwdriver without having to read the instructions for it will also be helpful.
