void warning..

Post by heman » Mon Mar 19, 2007 10:50 pm

one day my good friend John, come to my shop and buy lot of things like apple, orange, pineapple blabla..

after key-in all the item..he said he have no money and ask me pay for tomorrow..so..i say ok, bc of the park so i can park his bill...

with my fast typing speed..haha..though i do a good job..but ..accidently
i press the wrong key F5 void entire transaction.

so the park key step should be F6-2-enter-park code..
i accidently key F5-2-enter ...omg....my list all gone..

maybe can come with a warning..like "delete entire transaction? 1.dont delete 2. delete!!"

an other thing is when i key in all the item..suddenly i wrong press F5..then i notice i'm wrong so i press Esc to quit the void function, but the transaction still gone..

Extra key

Post by daleadmin » Mon Mar 19, 2007 11:11 pm

Heman,

So I add the warning and the extra key press to confirm that you really want to void the sale and then other users scream at me because they have to press and extra key.

I can't win so I won't play.

Sometimes you just have to read the screen and press the buttons indicated.

Dale
