I was thinking perhaps the ability to add custom fields to the stock list. For example a bookshop may add a new field to input the AUTHOR name.
Easy to implement? A good idea?

Use Vendor Line
Hello,
Just a quick tip, why not use the vendor line to input the author. This would also make it searchable by pos.

Modifying the stock table

Changing the format of the stock table may be a good idea but it is very difficult to do. The last time I did it, it took over 3 months to do it.
So I am afraid that to warrant changing the stock table would require an overwhelming need.
