backup my stock file?

I want to know how to make a backup everynight of my stock table nso that if anything goes wrong i do not lose all the items that i have input into pos
can any one tell my how to do this?

you can do this from posconfig
go to stock table
F5 I think is something like manipulate/export lines
After that, you should see an option to backup
Which will save it in a new sub directory

F5 and then
1. Continue or something like that.

where does it backup to?? i have done the f5 thing and then 2 but i ndon't know where it backsup?? i want to back it up on the flopy disc

angelo, read carefully, it goes into a folder called BACKUP inside the folder where you have POS installed.
Copy that to your disk.

To copy the stock table to a floppy, from the main menu go to "3. File maintenance" and select "7. Copy files." Now select to copy the stock table and the floppy drive letter you want to send it to.
