I just did a Gift Card Report and the balance showing is incorrect...

Sorry I do not know how to add a picture to the post... so I will try to explain...

My customer received a gift card of $226.00. On May 14, 2009 she spent 55.84, leaving a balance of 170.16... so far this is correct.
Then, on May 15, 2009, she spent 56.50, which should leave a balance of 113.66, instead it shows the amount spent (112.34)

The report reads as follow:

I am expecting to see the balance of the card and not the amount spent to date... Or maybe I am just not reading the report correctly...

That does seem to be wrong. From the main POS menu if you press [F9] and check the balance on the gift card what amount comes up?

Using F9 from the main menu gives me the right balance of $113.66. It is just on the Gift Card Report :s

Well the important thing is that the value in the gift card is still there. Was there anything strange about the sale that caused this, discount, coupons, reductions, anything else?

Yours is the first report of this problem since the gift card feature was created and I cannot get it to occur here. Until I get more reports of this happening I will consider this a one-time-only glitch.
