AOL and Outlook

Any AOL users out there?

A user wants to use the "automatic reports" feature to email his reports through his AOL account. Can you use Outlook or Outlook Express as your email client if you have an AOL account? The reason I ask this is that you use the same settings for Outlook that you must enter into the POS program to get it to email reports.

Dale,
The SMTP SERVER is: smtp.aol.com
AOL help file says that the port needs to be 587 instead of the default port 25.
I'm not sure how to test this with POS, however I was able to setup outlook express with my aol account and it worked with either the default port 25 or 587.

If someone has an AOL AIM account they can use their AIM email to do the same by using smtp.aim.com as the server name.
