Gift Receipts

Post by toydept » Sun Jan 10, 2010 9:52 am

Hi,

Does this software print gift receipts?

Even the receipt it prints out already but without the prices on it would do the job, as long as the transaction number was there.

Any idea when it may be implemented - it would be really handy to have that feature.

Cheers

Toydept,

Nope. I have put this feature in my mental file known as the "think about it pile." This is a huge pile of features, complaints, threats, suggestions, rude comments, and various other things that users have sent in about the POS program. I have no control over this pile. Currently I am working on a Customer Accounts feature that is taking an enormous amount of time to finish. However every once in a while something bubbles up to the top of the pile and cannot be denied. Last week a "dual printers" feature reached the top and I had to spend a week off from Customer Accounts to add that to the program and a beta test version of that is being tested now.

So I would like to be able to tell you when I will be adding gift receipts to the program but I really have no idea. Everything in the pile is a mystery to me. :)

Dale
