There was a bug in the THEATER.EXE. When you start the program the first time you must enter the printer setup for tickets. However if you never used any other part of the POS program that created a sub-folder to hold data files for that particular register filename when you tried to save the ticket printer setup the program would die. A rare occurance. However I have fixed it, download this file http://www.dhpos.com/theater.exe
Another problem is counterfit tickets. Since the program prints tickets on a normal printer it is not too hard to type a purchased ticket into MS Word and print your own, or just scan and print.
Some ways I can think of to prevent this is to purchase sheets of stickers and when you print a ticket attach a sticker to it. Of course you would want the stickers on the sheet to be all the same and something weird or custom made. You would not want someone to happen upon the same store where you bought the stickers.
Another option is to get a hole punch that punches a weird shaped hole into the ticket. No printer / copier is going to be able to copy a hole. When the ticket is printed punch a hole into the stub. Check for the hole when the ticket is taken. You can get a weird hole punch here http://www.carolinastamp.com/holepunch.htm
