POS version 7.04 released 3-18-10.

A new report in the "8. Reports" feature.

Inventory value report.
This report will give the total value of your inventory. It does this by taking the number of pieces of each line in the stock table and multiplying that by the “R PRICE” for the “Total inventory at price.” It also multiplies the inventory times the “COST” to give you a “Total inventory at cost.” Whenever you create this report it will give you both figures.
For this report to give you accurate figures you must correctly fill in the “R PRICE” and “COST columns for every item in your stock table. The report has no way of telling if an “R PRICE” or “COST” is incorrect. It will not tell you if an item is missing either of these figures because some items, like services, may not require an “R PRICE” or “COST.”

If you have a version of the program 7.04 or later then just download this file http://www.dhpos.com/fileinfo.exe after making a backup of your current FILEINFO.EXE file.

I added this to version 7.04e

On a network if you make a "B. Employee sales" report from a local register you will be offered the option of getting the report from just that register or from the server for all registers. Before you could not get any employee sales report from a local register.

But I got lazy so the filename on the download page is still POS704E.EX but when you download the file the version number on the POS.EXE and POSCONFG.EXE files will be 7.04e2.

If you do not want to do a full download and you currently have version 7.04c or later you can make backups then download these two files...

Bug fix. In previous versions when you used the "5. Voids" feature of the main POS.EXE program to reprint a receipt, it would not print the customer info on the receipt. This was reported by Dianequilts and fixed in version 7.04f
