Post by small » Thu May 13, 2010 7:25 pm

Hello,

This is dhpos on my Ubuntu Linux. If anyone here wants to use linux to run Dhpos on and doesn't know how to do it, please leave a comment and I will make a tutorial on how to accomplish this task.

see pics here http://www.madpricersales.com/pics.html

as you can see I made Ubuntu look like windows xp.

Aprint 5 also works using linux.

I would very much like and appreciate if you would post a tutorial on how to get it running in Ubuntu Linux ! :-)

I was tinkering with it under wine and couldnt get it to work :-(

I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) Desktop 32bit, and the version of Dosbox in the repos (version .73) seems to have trouble with the number pad. I tried it on two different computers with the same result. I found this guide to compile the latest version of dosbox (.74) and it has worked great (I was unable to download one of the mesa packages but that hasn't been an issue). I only followed the first part of the tutorial, I didn't do any of the gui game launcher stuff.

I don't know much about Dosbox, I use dosemu. You might wanna ask dale if he knows anything about dosbox or if he knows who might be able to give you some insight about dosbox.
