Receipt print format is cuttoff

Post by sstone » Fri Sep 03, 2010 1:11 am

I have install a new receipt printer and now the receipt is printing only 2/3rd the page, with the price details being cut off.

I have changed the font size to 6 and this helps but obviously not the right solution and still missing last few characters

It is a USB printer, so am printing to File and using APRINT to send to printer. 40 or 80 character option does not seem to change things either

any suggestions on how to maybe tell the receipt printer to print whole page not just 2/3rds

Is your printer capable of printing 40 characters per line? A receipt has several dashed lines, count the dashes in a line, are there 39 of them?

Is what is printed go all across the paper, ie, if more could be printed it would be beyond the right edge of the paper?

Try printing to your printer from a word processing program like MS Word. Can you get MS Word to print 40 characters on a line?

What make and model printer do you have?
