Dear Dale,

I just switched to the newest version (waited till the end of the year to do so) and everything seems to work fine. Thanks.

One remark: since the update on sales receipts it shows a line "count 1". All our receipt is in German, and in between I find this line I cannot make sence of. What is it? Can I remove / change it?

Jake,

"Count" is the total quantity in the sale. This is the solution I came up with.

Download both files after making backups.
HTTP://WWW.DHPOS.COM/POS.EXE
HTTP://WWW.DHPOS.COM/POSCONFG.EXE
These two files will be Version 7.04hx.
This will print the total pieces at the bottom of the list of things sold like this...

Notice that the total number of items purchased is now at the bottom of the "Pieces" column and there is no lable for it, therefore it cannot be in the wrong language.

The "YOU SAVED" thing is a new feature that prints the total amount of reductions in the sale. To activate this go to the “Discount” feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program and enter a label for printing the total for reductions. If no label is entered then the reduction total will not print on the receipt. Since you enter the label it will say anything you want. The label and amount will also not print if there are no reductions.

Hello Dale,
Great feature, but it does not matter what I put in the field, i.e. total saved, savings, etc... it shows up on the receipt as you saved.

Well, fuzzbutt. I forgot to change something before I compiled it. But it is fixed now on version 7.04hx2 which can be downloaded here http://www.dhpos.com/pos.exe
