I'va had a little play around with the system and have browsed the site for this information but i wondered if I was missing something.

I can't find anyway to import an inventory list.

Is there such an option?

I think you want the inventory or receiving programs. Unless you are talking about importing your stock table, in which case that is done with POSCONFG.
