City Newsstand is 300 feet from my keyshop. Elsewhere Joe Angelastri stated that by processing credit cards using a telephone dial-up it is almost impossible to hack that because there is nothing to hack and it is not connected to the internet. Something to think about before connecting your POS computer to the internet.
Unless of course you have $22,000 to lose.

haha, that sucks, so your making your program much less safer by putting credit card acceptance on it?

In my opinion it was his fault who has the same user name and password to remotely manage a POS computer and the username was pos and password was pos thats what caused the problem you need hard passwords

DHPos allows you to accept credit cards as payment, but does not store the credit card numbers - if there's nothing there to steal = safe.

ahh, but it still sends the number, and stores it in a varible for a couple seconds ...
software might be able to extract that some how
