hi ,everyone.

i'm using a ZEBEX 3051HS barcode scanner with DHPOS.
Every time i try to scan a barcode [13digits] as a input to my stock table, scanner turn into programming mode and no matter what press on keyboard it does not continue to scan.

does anyone has such experience, and solutions for this. please replay. thank you.

Did you do the scanner test?

Load any word processing program and scan the same barcode 3 times. The numbers should come out like this...

1234567890123
1234567890123
1234567890123

If they come out all in a row like this...

123456789012312345678901231234567890123

Then the scanner is not set to use [ENTER] as the termination character.

I do not know what you scanner's program mode is. Usually to program a scanner you have to scan a special barcode that is in your scanner's manual. Are you saying that by scanning a product's barcode that that barcode is programming your scanner? When you do the scanner test described above does that put your scanner into programming mode?

thank you for reply, i tried to scan a product barcode while Word is open, but there is nothing displayed on the blank document. and according to the user's manual it says, 'the scanner has successfully decode,but the object is not removed from scan window. the scanner is in programming mode.'
er.. does it mean my scanner got malfunction, or something else.

I have never used this scanner so I cannot offer any suggestions. However failing the word processing test is not good sign. I did find the manual for your scanner here http://www.pinteq.co.za/downloads-2715.html

You can look at the manual and see it it has the solution to your problem. You can also contact the folks you bought it from to see if they have any ideas.

If you have downloaded the manual, you could try scanning the end of configuration code, then try the test use MS Word.

i have tried 'end of configuration' still not working, i think there something wrong with scanner itself.
