Stand alone Customer info

I have noticed that you can not add customers from the stand alone Customer.exe program. You can only add customers from the customer info in the POSCONFG.exe.

Is this intentional or was this over looked.

I guess posts here are no longer being answered. at least are being put on hold until Emery's self checkout is finished.

Yes, they are being answered. But Dale has a life outside of monitoring this forum. If you have an immediate need for assistance, you should drop by the IRC chat room. Dale is always there and ready to answer questions.

I thought I had posted an answer to this last night but it seems to have been lost in the system.

Small,

I was going to answer you last night in the forum but you left without warning. If you have a CUSTOMER.EXE program it is by accident. My guess is that it was something I was working on and it got compiled into the folder that holds the files that go into the DHPOS download and when I made the download it got swept up with all the others. But it is not an official part of DHPOS and I am not even sure what it was supposed to do.

Dale
