Gift Certificates

Ok, it's that time of year where customers are asking for gift certificates to give away as presents. How can I go about doing this? I've looked through the system, manual and forum and didn't see anything. How do I actually go about selling a gift certificate and then redeeming it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you so much! I've set it up now. That's exactly what I was looking for. It's great that I don't have to spend on actual gift cards.
