Looking for old versions

Today I received another post looking for an old version of the Cash Register program. I have no idea why.

I have not kept old versions of the program. However Jon and I were talking on chat and we decided that there should be an archive of old versions of the program for anyone who wants to see them. Again, I have no idea why.

So everyone look on your hard drives. If you have an old version sent it to daleharris@prodigy.net and when we collect some of them we will post what we have for all to download. We are looking mainly for the original POS.ZIP download files if possible because they will have all the files including the REGISTER.TXT user's guide but we will accept whatever you have.

I have a few old versions that I will e-mail you in August. I am currently running 5.03 in my store because it lasts only for 7 weeks (boy scout camp) and it's not worth the trouble, in my mind, to upgrade for such a short amount of time.

I have a few lying around. I know that I have 4.15, 4.17, 6.10, 6.13. These should have the full zip files, as I just wrote the whole thing to a cd to always have it handy. I probably have another version or two if I look hard enough.

Where do I send them?

Greg

You said that you will post old versions nearly 2 years ago (28 December 2003)
