Hello, I want to use Dale POS for a Restaurant. Is it possible to enter the food order and have it print out in the kitchen like this the chef knows what he has to cook. And then after the customer is done with the meal ring up the order, is this possible and how?

If you use the POSCONFG.EXE program to allow sale parking and the "Printer setup" feature to allot the printing of sales checks then what you can to is ring up the sale, Press [+] for to total, choose to print a sales check, and then the sale will be parked. The sales check will print on the receipt printer and you carry it to the kitchen. The other option is to run two printers of the sale port so that the sales check prints in both the kitchen and the receipt printer.

port? Can I use two Printer Parallel Ports on Cash Register? One for the sale receipts and the other for the kitchen.

No, you would use some kind of printer port adaptor to have two printers on the same port. Just like a double adaptor you plug into the wall to make double use of a single power outlet.

Alternatively - read the manual (REGISTER.TXT) on the use of APRINT - and you can get APRINT to deliver it to two printers (you must have both setup as windows printers to do this).
